Health and Wellbeing Caseworkers provide one to one support to individuals to improve their overall quality of life, by addressing both emotional and practical needs. They work alongside clients to reduce isolation, build confidence, and strengthen connections with peers and community networks.
Through compassionate listening and tailored support, Caseworkers help individuals navigate challenges, access services, and develop the skills and resilience needed to maintain and improve their wellbeing. This can include supporting individuals who want to make positive lifestyle changes, set achievable goals, learn to manage ongoing health conditions, and utilise the VSS ‘Individual Needs’ programme.
The MBMLW Project operates an ‘Open Door’ policy for those who may need to return for additional support in the future or to attend one of our peer group supports. In addition, Caseworkers organise peer support activities such as creative or health and wellbeing workshops, as well as events such as day trips or residentials.
